The City of Saginaw is home to Ojibway Island-downtown's very own island park along the Saginaw River. The Island's naturally lush scenery and opportune location provides for beautiful strolls along the water and many spots to seek calming shade and relaxation, all with a view of the Saginaw River. In addition to fun family activities such as leisurely bike rides, fishing on the docks, and enjoyable picnics, Ojibway Island is host to many annual events such as the Fourth of July fireworks in the summer, and ice fishing every winter.

Ojibway Island is conveniently located next to other local attractions such as the Japanese Tea GardensAnderson Enrichment CenterSaginaw Children's Zoo, and Hoyt Park. Ojibway Island is accessible by bridge or by the walking paths. Ojibway Island provides a calming oasis in the midst of the busy downtown area and is a great place to simply soak up the natural beauty that Saginaw has to offer.
