The City of Saginaw is pleased to offer EV charging in its Old Town and Downtown business districts to residents and visitors alike! You will need to download and install the ChargePoint app on your iOS or Android mobile device in order to initiate a charge.

Currently, the City of Saginaw has 2 Direct Current (DC) Fast Chargers which are capable of providing up to 100 miles of range in 30 minutes on supported Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) featuring CCS1 or CHAdeMO charging ports. We also have a total of 12 Level 2 (L2) Alternating Current Chargers which can provide most electric vehicles with 18-28 miles of range per hour, including many Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), using a SAE J1772 charging port - also known as "J-plug."
Telsa owners: Please be aware that in order to utilize these charging stations, you may need to supply your own third-party adapter.
