November 21, 2023 SAGINAW, MI – Due to the milder weather conditions, the City of Saginaw has opted to extend the collection of seasonal yard waste one additional week through the week of December 4, 2023. The Department of Public Works has revised the collection schedule to allow additional time for the remaining leaves to fall from the trees. The last yard seasonal yard waste collection day for Saginaw residents is noted on the revised table below:

Residents are reminded to have all properly prepared materials placed at the 
curb no later than 7 am on their regular collection day.

The City of Saginaw reminds residents that all yard waste materials must be placed in paper yard waste bags or in 35 gallon or smaller garbage cans that have a “Yard Waste” sticker affixed to the front of the can.

Yard waste stickers are available in the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall or at the Right-of-Way Division in the Public Works Service Center (1435 S. Washington Avenue). For more information on yard waste guidelines, contact the City of Saginaw at (989) 399-1311.
