On Monday, April 24, 2023 from 4:30-6:00 p.m., the City of Saginaw will hold a public Open House in City Hall Council Chambers, 1315 S. Washington Ave. All residents, property owners, and business owners interested in the Mackinaw Street Reconstruction project are invited to attend. The project engineers and City personnel will be available at the Open House to answer questions and discuss the displayed construction and traffic control plans.
Monday’s Open House will give the public an opportunity to learn more about the project and communicate any concerns they may have regarding the project.
The Mackinaw Street Reconstruction project is scheduled to begin May 1, 2023 with an expected project completion date of October 6, 2023.
This project will include roadway reconstruction, new curb and gutter, drive approaches, ADA sidewalk ramps, water main and water service replacement, and drainage improvements on Mackinaw Street from Congress Avenue to South Alexander Street.
