The City of Saginaw is pleased to once again host a Neighborhood Association Action Group (NAAG) meeting for area residents. The meetings were previously canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. The June NAAG meeting will allow residents from area neighborhood groups to reconvene once again to learn, discuss local neighborhood issues, solve problems, and reconnect with one another. The meeting will be outside, so participants are reminded to bring a chair.
The agenda for Tuesday’s NAAG meeting will include a variety of beneficial topics including updates from local law enforcement and the fire department, Saginaw’s “Best Kept Yard” program, and a presentation from Michigan’s Health Improvement Alliance. Residents will also have the opportunity to ask questions of many of our department heads, as we will have representatives from several departments in attendance. John Stemple, Director of Neighborhood Services and Inspections, stressed the
importance of the June NAAG meeting, “We recognize the importance of meeting with our citizens, updating them on new city programs, and discussing any concerns they may have. We want citizens to know that we are here to listen to them. Everyone who attends can make a valuable contribution to their neighborhood and to the city.”
