All Freedom of Information Act requests must be submitted in writing to the City’s FOIA Coordinator, the City Manager. Requests received by facsimile, electronic mail or through other electronic means are not considered received until one business day after the electronic transmission is made.
It is the City’s responsibility to respond within five business days, or to request an extension of ten business days. In accordance with the adopted FOIA Policy, fees may be charged for labor, materials, and postage.
An individual has the right to undertake an appeal for a denial of a request or for a fee charged.
