NIAGARA ST. AND HANCOCK ST. ROAD CLOSURE AT THIS INTERSECTION
City crews will be doing utility work within the right-of-way at the intersection of Niagara Street and Hancock Street. This work requires a road closure until Friday, March 22nd at 4:00 pm. During this time, all lanes at this intersection will be closed to through traffic. Please follow the detour setup or seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Niagara Street and Hancock Street, and the City of Saginaw asks drivers to please be patient while the work is in progress.
Contract crews will be doing concrete work within the right-of-way on Court Street, between South Alexander Street and Graham Street, requiring an eastbound lane closure on Monday, March 18th at 7:00 am until Friday, April 19th at 5:00 pm. During this time, the two eastbound lanes will be reduced to one lane. The two westbound lanes will remain open. Please seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Court Street, and the City of Saginaw asks drivers to please be patient while the work is in progress
Contract crews will be doing utility work within the right-of-way on Cooper Avenue between Bay Street and Court Street, requiring a westbound lane closure on Monday, March 18th at 7:00 am until Tuesday, March 19th at 5:00 pm. During this time, the westbound lane will be closed to through traffic; the eastbound lane will remain open. Please follow the detour set-up or seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Cooper Avenue, and The City of Saginaw asks motorists to please be patient while the work is in progress.
Please be advised that the Symphony Lane Reconstruction Project will begin Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023 with an expected completion date of December 1st, 2023. During this time, Symphony Lane will be closed to through traffic and motorists will be detoured around the work site. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. The City of Saginaw urges residents to seek alternate routes if possible, and we also ask drivers to please be patient while the work is in progress.
