Art & Garden Festival
Our summer art fair and garden extravaganza draws hundreds of art and garden aficionados from around the state to the Lucille Andersen Memorial Garden in June during the first blooming of the roses. The day’s festivities include an art fair, garden vendors, gardening demonstrations, silent auction, picnic lunch and our famous homemade strawberry shortcake!

Jazz in the Garden
Picture a warm summer evening, a garden of roses and wisteria, a splashing fountain and a performance by a popular jazz band from the Great Lakes Bay Region and you have a winning combination. For four consecutive Wednesdays in July, hundreds of people gather in the Lucille Andersen Memorial Garden for a relaxing evening of free musical entertainment.
Great Jazz Entertainment for the Whole Family to Enjoy! The Andersen Enrichment Center will host its annual summer concert series, “Jazz in the Garden” which will be held in the Lucille E. Andersen Memorial Garden on four consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning July 10th.

- Concert #2 July 17, 2013 7:00 p.m. - The New Reformation Band
- Concert #3 July 24, 2013 7:00 p.m - Cool Lemon Jazz Band Concert Sponsor – Absolute! Building Maintenance!!
- Concert #4 July 31, 2013 7:00 p.m. - The Saucecats
Bring your own chair and relax and enjoy the concerts. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held at Pit and Balcony Theater, 805 North Hamilton Street.

Hollyday Art Fair
This annual holiday tradition in the heart of the city has become a much anticipated event for artists and attendees alike. The Hollyday Fair features fresh holly for sale as well as distinctive gifts in the gift gallery. Michigan artists at booths offer a variety of original artwork, jewelry and more. A soup and sandwich lunch is served in the Garden Room, superb sweets for holiday entertaining are available in the Hollyday Bake Shoppe and a silent auction round out the day.
Art @ the Andersen
Ongoing art exhibits and a Fall Watercolor Exposition give local and regional artists an opportunity to display and sell their work.
Student Art Exhibition
Celebrating Saginaw’s Cultures: Unity through Diversity takes place early winter at the Andersen Enrichment Center with a public exhibit and family reception honoring the many young artists, grades 3-12 in the Saginaw Public Schools.
The gift gallery at Andersen Enrichment Center features artsy gifts and the work of artists in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Think of us for unique, affordable and thoughtful gifts for family, friends or for the home.

LOVE YOUR PARK
Macy's in the Fashion Square Mall is taking donations of $1 or more from now through March 31st. Donations go towards improving Hoyt Park. Macy's will match the donations up to a Storewide total of $250,000. They will continue to accept donations until the end of the campaign even after the match amount has been met.
