  • Jefferson Lane Closure between Hayden and Millard September 9-10

    City crews will continue to work within the right-of-way on Jefferson, between Hayden and Millard, requiring a lane closure until Friday, September 10th at 3:00 pm. The southbound lane will be closed; please follow the detour set up or seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Jefferson during that time, and the City of Saginaw asks that drivers be patient while the work is in progress. 

  • Owen St Lane Closure at Campbell on Thursday, September 9

    City crews will be working within the right-of-way on Owen, at its intersection with Campbell, requiring a lane closure on Thursday, September 9th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. The southbound lane will be closed to through traffic; please follow the detour set up or seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Gallagher during that time, and the City of Saginaw asks that drivers be patient while the work is in progress. 

  • Gallagher Lane Shift between Van Ettan and Wilkins on Thursday, September 9

    City crews will be working within the right-of-way on Gallagher, between Van Ettan and Wilkins, requiring a lane shift on Thursday, September 9th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. The two westbound lanes will be reduced to one lane of traffic; please seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Gallagher during that time, and the City of Saginaw asks that drivers be patient while the work is in progress. 

  • Ezra Rust Lane Shift between Fordney and Washington September 7-10

    City crews will be working within the right-of-way on Ezra Rust, between Fordney and Washington, requiring a lane shift beginning Tuesday, September 7th at 8:00 am until Friday, September 10th at 3:00 pm. The westbound lane will be reduced to one lane; please seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Ezra Rust during that time, and the City of Saginaw asks that drivers be patient while the work is in progress. 

  • Jefferson Lane Closure between Hayden and Millard September 7-10

    City crews will be working within the right-of-way on Jefferson, between Hayden and Millard, requiring a lane closure beginning Tuesday, September 7th at 8:00 am until Friday, September 10th at 3:00 pm. The northbound lane will be closed; please follow the detour set up or seek an alternate route if possible. Residents are urged to bypass this portion of Jefferson during that time, and the City of Saginaw asks that drivers be patient while the work is in progress. 

  • E. Genesee Ave Reconstruction/ Streetscape between Franklin St and Janes Ave

    The Reconstruction and Streetscape of E. Genesee Ave., between Franklin St. and Janes Ave., began on Monday, March 8, 2010 and will extend until September/October 2010. The project will take place in three phases, running consecutively:

    Phase I:     E. Genesee Ave. Lane Closures between Franklin St. and Janes Ave. (March 8, 2010 - April 18, 2010)
    Phase II:    E. Genesee Ave. Road Closure between Janes Ave. and 2nd Ave. (April 19, 2010 - May 18, 2010) DETOUR MAP
    Phase III:   E. Genesee Ave. Road Closure between Franklin Ave. and 2nd Ave. (May 19, 2010 - September/October 2010) DETOUR MAP

    During Phase I, traffic will be maintained on E. Genesee Ave. with the east and westbound lanes reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction. During Phase II and III, E. Genesee Ave. will be closed to through traffic, although a detour route will be set up to guide motorists around the construction site.
