Saginaw Police Offers New Mobile App
As the new Public Information Officer, Sgt. Reggie Williams has made the Saginaw Police Department and himself more accessible and transparent through the use of Twitter (@ReggieSgt) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/reginald.williams.3382118). Now the Saginaw Police Department is introducing MyPD! MyPD is a free app that can be downloaded to your iPhone, iPad, Android, or other smartphone. Inside this app citizens will have the ability to receive PUSH notifications from SPD, view a list of SPD contacts, submit questions in our Q&A section, anonymously submit detailed tips, commend officers, view most wanted persons, view sex offender registry, and more. We are very excited about this app because it is one more tool that allows the police and the community to help each other.
To download our free app on your iPhone or Android:
- Search for MyPD or My Police Department in iTunes, the Android Market, or Amazon App Store.
- Find our department by searching in the ‘Nearby’ section. Make sure your Location settings are on.
- Get connected with us!

Enhanced Law Enforcement Response to Victims Initiative:
The Saginaw Police Department is one of only three law enforcement agencies in the country that has been selected to participate in a unique program designed to help reduce crime, support victims, and enhance public safety. We ask that the residents of Saginaw participate in this anonymous survey being conducted by Saginaw Valley State University. Your participation will help the City of Saginaw Police Department expand its capacity to meet the needs of crime victims, and broaden those services where a need is indicated. This short survey is available online at the following button:
