PUBLIC MEETING VETS MEMORIAL PARKWAY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY HALL - COUNCIL CHAMBERS WEDNESDAY, May 10, 2017 4:30 - 6:00 PM
Please be advised the City of Saginaw is holding a public meeting on Wednesday, May 10th at City Hall in Council Chambers from 4:30 - 6:00 pm to address the reconstruction project on Vets Memorial Parkway from Wadsworth Road northerly to McGill Street and from Needham Street northerly to Washington Avenue (M-13). Project engineers and City Personnel will be available to answer questions and discuss the project and traffic control plans such as:
Construction is scheduled to begin on or after May 31, 2017, with an expected open to traffic date of September 1, 2017, and a project completion date of September 29, 2017.
Work on Veteran’s Memorial Parkway will include concrete pavement repairs, hot mix asphalt cold milling and resurfacing, drainage improvements, selective curb and gutter, sidewalk, and ADA ramp replacements, water main, and guardrail improvements.
This is a much needed capital improvement project that will provide a smoother ride. Owners, residents and/or motorists affected by this project are encouraged to attend this meeting to obtain helpful information prior to construction.
