City of Saginaw MI -
Hamilton Enhancement
What:
This street enhancement project on Hamilton Street from Van Buren to Court will involve the replacement of the decorative street lights with a more energy efficient LED light along a three block route in the Old Town neighborhood. The result will be a more pedestrian friendly business district that will complement the work already completed on Court Street from Michigan to Hamilton. In addition, the lighting will be more energy efficient, less expensive to operate and maintain, brighter and require less maintenance. As a follow-up project, during the 2014 construction season, major reconstruction will replace the street, sidewalks, ramps, and underground utilities on Hamilton Street from Court to Lyon.
