The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has the responsibility of grants administration for the city. All grant applications, awards, changes, etc. must be reviewed and approved by OMB staff. OMB works with the department to develop grant applications, comply with the requirements of the funding agency, monitor timelines, and maintains a centralized grant file for ease of access and for audit purposes. OMB also helps facilitate Council Communications, extension requests, and other correspondence for grants.
