Emergency Service Team Attempts to Locate Person of Interest
On July 22, 2013 Saginaw Police patrol officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of S. Hamilton reference shots fired. Upon arriving on the scene officers were notified that one house in that block had been shot at and hit by bullets. Witnesses also told officers who the shooter was and could positively identify him. The shooter’s name will not be released at this time. The shooter is a 20 year old b/m who is still outstanding at this time. No one was shot or injured during this incident.
Early this morning the Saginaw Police/Michigan State Police Detectives Major Crimes Unit along with the Emergency Services Teams executed two search warrants regarding this case. One search warrant was executed in the Bloomfield and Huntley neighborhood and the other was in the area of Covenant Hospital, both in the City of Saginaw. The suspect is still outstanding at this time.
We want our citizens to understand and know that if you tell us who is doing the crime we are going to use our resources to apprehend the parties involved. Your safety is our priority!
This is a joint investigation between Saginaw Police Detectives and the Michigan State Police. Our departments are still interviewing witnesses regarding this case and the investigation is on-going.
