Saginaw Police - Two Homicides Last Night
On June 11that 11:39 pm, Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Holland reference shots fired and a man down. Officers arrived on scene and located a victim. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim is a 48 year old b/m Saginaw city resident. Detectives responded to the scene and are interviewing witnesses.
At 03:24 am on June 12th, Officers responded to area of 9th and Perkins reference and located a b/m in his thirties who appears to have been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of right now, SPD/MSP believes that both homicides are unrelated and we are looking for multiple suspects and suspects are still outstanding. Victimís names are not being released at this time until the next of kin can be notified.
These are joint investigations between Saginaw Police Detectives and the Michigan State Police. Our departments are still interviewing witnesses regarding these cases and the investigations are on-going.
