City of Saginaw MI -
Other Programs

Here you can find resources on different programs offered by the City of Saginaw Fire Department. Information about firework safety can be found, and should be adhered to in order to provide for safe use. You may want to look into installing a Knox box in your home, which could have many benefits to you in the case of a fire. The Infant Safe Haven program can save the lives of newborns that might otherwise not have a safe place. The Smoke Detector program can save lives, and reduce the effects of a fire on your home and family. The department can install smoke detectors for free in your home, and it may be the difference between life and death, or the difference between losing your home, or having something to salvage based on quick response from the fire department. Enhanced Law Enforcement Response to Victims Initiative:

The Saginaw Police Department is one of only three law enforcement agencies in the country that has been selected to participate in a unique program designed to help reduce crime, support victims, and enhance public safety. We ask that the residents of Saginaw participate in this anonymous survey being conducted by Saginaw Valley State University. Your participation will help the City of Saginaw Police Department expand its capacity to meet the needs of crime victims, and broaden those services where a need is indicated. This short survey is available online at the following button:
