In order for everyone to enjoy the quiet, pleasant atmosphere and beautiful surroundings of the Friendship Garden and Awa Saginaw An, we would like you to treat the delicate nature of this setting with care and respect by observing these guidelines:
- Remain on the pathways;
- No animals, including dogs, allowed
- No bicycles, roller skates or skateboards allowed;
- Picnicking is not allowed in the Garden. Food, beverages, and chewing gum are not permitted;
- No alcohol of any allowed;
- Please do not disturb the natural, quiet atmosphere of the area by playing radios or tapes/CDs;
- No smoking in the Garden or Tea House;
- Please do not touch or lean against the walls, woodwork, rice paper fixtures or other surfaces of the Tea House;
- We recommend that appropriate dress be worn for admittance to the Tea House - shoes and shirt are required - and no bathing suits or similar attire;
- Please check with the Center office if you wish to conduct a photography session or arrange a wedding ceremony in the Garden. An appointment and a permit are required. No walk-in weddings or photo sessions are allowed.
By following these guidelines you are helping to preserve the quiet beauty and dignity of this precious part of the Saginaw Parks system.
