Does the City have my House Plans?

No, These were never required to be on file with the City. If you believe your house may be classified as Historical, contact your local Historical Society for additional resources.

Does the City have the Location of water and sewer lines on my property?

No, the City only records the location of the Water and Sewer Connections between the Main and the Property Line.

Why do I have to pay for my sidewalk repairs?

City ordinances have owner responsible for repair and maintenance. (Title IX, Chapter 96, Section 1)

Can you do a Survey of my Property?

No, you will need to contact a private survey company for this service.

Why are the Prices so expensive to have a water or sewer line replaced?

Prices are not expensive as compared to other cities. The cost is currently less than half of the actual cost.

What if I can't park in my Driveway?

If, due to construction such as replacing a driveway or approach, or placing a dumpster, you cannot access your driveway, Engineering can issue a parking permit valid from 3am until 6am in otherwise valid parking areas.
