MONDAY, MAY 7, 2007, 6:30 P.M. COUNCIL CHAMBER, CITY HALL
- Held Committee of the Whole and heard general budget overview and department overviews for General Government, Fiscal Services, Police, Fire, Public Safety Fund and Public Services (Water and Sewer).
- Presented proclamation to Minister Rhonda Webb designating 05/19/07 as Cross the Street Day.
- Granted personal appearances to Johnny Sanders, Rayshon Singleterry, Nettie Henderson and Ruben Vasquez.
- Heard reports from the City Manager Evaluation Committee and Sesquicentennial Committee.
- Authorized Mayor to sign Certifications of Consistency with the Consolidated Plan for various local agencies and gave Mayor authorization to sign future certificates.
- Increased Acme Block purchase order for maintenance on Street’s Division plow trucks. Entered closed session to discuss a written legal opinion.
