- Granted personal appearances to David R. Ortega, Charles Littleton II, Evelyn McGovern, Dr. Marie Wright Tolliver, Edna C. Jones Webb, Lisle Brummell, Earl G. Jesse, Nino Mauro and Calvin Gill, Jr.
- Approved Petition 06-44 from Rick Hayes requesting fireworks display 1/26/07 (rain date 1/28/07) at east side of Saginaw River.
- Approved Petition 06-45 from Rick Hayes requesting fireworks display 1/27/07 (rain date 1/28/07) at east side of Saginaw River.
- Received and filed Petition 06-46 from Thomas A. Topham, Top Lease Company, requesting taxicab rate increase.
- Approved Petition 07-01 from Rick Hayes requesting fireworks display 1/31/07 (rain date 02/01/07) at east side of Saginaw River.
- Approved Petition 07-02 from JoAnn Crary, requesting public hearing and Resolution approving Brownfield Single Tax Business Tax Credit for Downtown Area Development, LLC III project at 901 S. Washington Ave (n/k/a 999 S. Washington).
- Heard reports from the Precinct Committee, Sesquicentennial Committee and City Beautification Committee.
- Heard report from Peter Ewend of Saginaw Bay Underwriters on City insurance proposals.
- Heard report from Thomas Darnell on streetlights.
- Approved filing of 2007 Single Lot Special Assessment Tax Roll with City Clerk and announced public hearing for 2/19/07.
- Approved insurance proposals with Chubb Group Insurance Companies for Customary Property Coverage, Equipment & Bridges Coverage and Cincinnati Insurance Company for Machinery & Equipment Coverage, effective 2/1/07-2/1/08 and authorized City Manager or his designee to execute all necessary documents.
- Issued purchase order to A.I.S. Equipment for a cable activated trailer for patching and repairing streets.
- Issued purchase order to Evans Equipment for replacement trailer for the Maintenance and Service Division.
- Issued purchase order to Evans Equipment for a Portable Light Tower for the Maintenance and Service Division.
- Issued purchase order to CEM Corporation for a laboratory microwave digester for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Approved Michigan Department of Transportation Cost Agreement for intersection improvements at M-13 and M-46 and authorized proper city officials to execute agreement and adopted Resolution for same in a subsequent portion of the agenda.
- Approved 3-year agreement with ADT Security Services, Inc. for access security systems at City Hall, Public Services and Police Station.
- Approved Addendum to Purchase and Development Agreement with Wolgast Corporation and authorized City Manager or his designee to execute all documents necessary.
- Postponed issuing a purchase order to Nationwide Fence & Supply Co. for chain link fencing to secure rear portion of the Water Treatment Plant.
