The Great American Clean Up

May 16, 17 & 18, 2008

FRIDAY, MAY 16, 2008

  • Riverfront Commission will clean up Garber Tennis Courts and Andersen Enrichment Center areas.

SATURDAY, MAY 17, 2008

  • Saginaw Flower Project
    • Planting Flowers Downtown and on the Washington Avenue Corridor
    • Hanging Baskets for downtown area
    • Planter boxes for each side of the bridge
  • Spicer Group
    • Clean up riverfront and the Morley Plaza area.
  • City Drop Off Site - MUST BE A CITY RESIDENT (1435 S. Washington-Enter on Holland near Water Street)
    • Building supplies, materials & other items not collected at the curb.
    • Scrap metal
    • Yard waste
    • Recyclables (glass, plastic cardboard, paper and cans)
    • Cell Phones (Fundraiser for Underground Railroad)

NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION GROUP PROJECTS ALL WEEKEND

FRI. 5/16 (7 am-8 pm) SAT. 5/17 (7 am-7 pm) SUN. 5/18 (2-4 p.m.)

  • Firestone Tire & Service Center, 4600 Bay Road
    • (Only accepting during open hours.)
    • Tire Drop Off (from lot cleanup only) Only 6 tires per person.

SUNDAY, MAY 18TH 2:00-4:00 P.M. – THANK YOU CELEBRATION

  • Morley Plaza
    • Entertainment   
    • Food    
    • Cars & Bikes on Display
