CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION established by 1935 PA 78, as amended.  Prescribes, amends, and enforces rules and regulations to carry into effect the provisions of Act 78.  Consists of three (3) members, one (1) appointed by the Mayor with City Council approval, one (1) elected by members of the Police and Fire Department and one (1) selected by other two members for six (6) year staggered terms of office.
