BOARD OF BUILDING APPEALS &
FIRE CODE APPEALS
BOARD OF BUILDING APPEALS and FIRE CODE APPEALS established by Administrative Code, Chapter 2, Sections 901 and 1701. Consists of seven members, three appointed by the Manager to serve at his/her pleasure and four by the Mayor with Council approval to serve two year staggered terms. Determines the suitability of alternate materials and type of construction and provides reasonable interpretations of the provisions of the Uniform Building Code and Uniform Fire Code.
MEETING SCHEDULE: Meets as necessary to transact business on an on-call basis.
