Ona Lee has been with the Saginaw Fire Department for 15 and a half years. She holds a Bachelor's of Science from Central Michigan University. She is a State Certified Instructor for Fire Fighter 1 & 2 and for Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations and received her National Certification for Fire Suppression Incident Safety Officer in June of 2011. She is a State Certified Hazardous Materials Technician and functions as the department's Hazardous Materials Team Leader and Coordinator for the Regional Response Team that responds to state wide Terrorist and Weapons of Mass Destruction Incidents. She has held every rank in the fire department and was recently promoted to the rank of Training and Safety Officer June 24, 2011.
