Administration
The Administrative Division of the Fire Department manages the annual operating budget while overseeing fire operations, training, building and apparatus maintenance, and fire prevention and life safety activities. Administration coordinates these activities with other city departments and divisions and county, state, and federal organizations. Administratively this division strives to provide the highest level of service to the community while providing management direction and planning for the future within the confines of the operating budget.

Ricardo has been with the Saginaw Fire Dept. for 28 years. The last nine years as the Training/Safety Officer. He is a State Certified Instructor for Fire Fighter 1 & 2 and for Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations and received his National Certification for Fire Suppression Incident Safety Officer in April 2005. In October of 2005 he received a Gubernatorial appointment to MIOSHA as a Health and Safety Commissioner representing Public Safety Employees. He was appointed Fire Chief on September 2, 2011. |
Sienna Rendon - Staff Professional

Sienna’s employment with the City of Saginaw began in May of 2006 as an Office Assistant II in the City Assessor’s office. She was later promoted to an Office Assistant III in Treasury and later, Water Billing/Customer Accounting. Sienna began working at the Saginaw Fire Department as an Administrative Professional in January of 2011. Sienna has an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Delta College and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. |
